Brent got promoted! As of Monday August 1st, Brent is now officially a Captain in the Marine Corps. I know Brent is excited as he was hoping to reach this rank in his Marine Corps career and I am very proud of him as well. Although his promotion ceremony was not as large or formal as his last promotion in North Carolina, it was still special. I was able to attend and pin on his Captain bars even though I had no idea how to do it and the CO had to show me where to put them. I didn't care, I was just happy that I was dressed appropriately for this promotion- no workout clothes, sneakers, or stitches in my eyebrow, ha ha. Congratulations Brent!
