Master Marge

I did it! It has been a long year, with countless hours spent on my laptop, but I have finally completed my Master's Degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion! Brent and I made the ten hour drive up to California, Pennsylvania for graduation where I was finally able to meet in person some of my classmates. I will have more pictures from them later. Special thanks to my parents for braving a vicious snow storm to make the trip down from New York. And for the record, thanks to Amaya for letting me borrow her flowers for the picture- I felt they added a nice touch.

It was a quick trip, but I am glad I went to graduation, and I am even more happy that I am done! No more homework for this girl! The ceremony was not unlike any other graduation ceremonies- the guest speaker only talked about himself, I think we were asked as "soon to be alumni" to donate money back to the school at least three times, and I had to laugh when the chorus sang "California Dreamin" by the Mamas and the Papas. Thanks to everyone who supported me over the last year, and especially those that listened to my complaining about the massive amounts of homework I had to do. For my friends that I know that are about to embark on the graduate school journey- good luck and I am not jealous, I am soooooo glad to be done!
