Simon says... the Marine Corps gets to change important dates, like oh say the date Brent deploys, anytime they want.
Turns out Brent will be deploying in November after all, which moves up his deployment date by two weeks. TWO WEEKS! So that also means that his pre-deployment leave begins two weeks earlier and Thanksgiving will fall at the end of leave instead of the beginning. We are headed up to New York for two weeks this Friday the 9th.
So there is the update from the Rider deployment saga- which hopefully will not change again.

Marge, that sucks!!!! Who do they think they are...I think they get a kick out of doing that to the wives. Enjoy your trip up north together and we will be thinking about you both
I'm sorry they keep changing things. But maybe you could think of it as: the sooner he leaves the sooner he returns??
