Deja-Boo!

So a couple weekends ago I was invited to a Halloween party... sounds like a good time right? Well, wrong if you dread having to come up with a costume like I do. You see I have my lovely mother to blame for my "could care less" attitude about Halloween. I just can't justify spending a bunch of money on a costume that you only wear for ONE night, or on the materials to make my own costume. And on that note, I can also blame my mom for my lack of sewing skills. So even if I was creative and came up with an original costume- I wouldn't be able to make it anyways. I know this sounds harsh and that I am putting a lot of blame on the Debster, but just ask her, she'll be the first one to agree with me.
So I make the best of what I already have and wear the $15 children's Clark Kent costume that I wore last year. Brent was still in California at the time, but Shelby was going to be staying with me for the weekend... our solution to Shelby's costume predicament? Every Clark Kent needs a Lois Lane does he not? So here are Shelby and I representing our comic book best- anyone see a phone booth around I could use?

It did end up being a lot of fun, you know, once the whole cosutme thing was taken care of.

For you Shelby...
