34 Weeks

I apologize for not having a post with belly pictures sooner than 34 weeks, but the month of June was pretty busy- as you could see from the previous posts. July has brought with it many trips to Babies R Us and the mall, among other places trying to get everything we need for Chase. From clothes to diapers and gear to items for the nursery, we think we are pretty much set now.

We put the crib together last night and hung everything on the walls today, yes at 34 weeks. I think usually people have the nursery put together before now, but in true Marge fashion... better late than never right? I'll post pictures of Chase's room soon.

As far as being 8 and a half months pregnant goes- I am feeling pretty good. Sleep is uncomfortable and the joints in my hands ache pretty bad, but I guess those are my two biggest complaints. Could be worse, I know. I am up to 19 pounds gained, but I have decided being pregnant in the summertime is not so bad after all. I have not had to buy any maternity clothes yet because my jeans still fit, and when I am not wearing workout clothes to work I can just throw on a sun dress for the weekends. The Doctor's prediction so far is that Chase will be a 7-7.5 pound baby, we'll have to wait and see if he is right! So far the pregnancy seems to be going by pretty fast, and it is amazing to think that he could come any day now. While Brent and I are very excited to meet the little guy we hope he stays put for a while longer.

I still do a double take when I pass the mirror- like "hey, where did that come from?"
