It had been waaaaaayyy too long since I had seen my good friend Carolyn- OK three years to be exact. So I booked a flight to California, well Reno actually, and couldn't wait to visit her and finally meet her two adorable kids. Like I said, I hadn't seen her in quite a while- long enough for her to have two kids even! Cailyn turned one in June, and Scott was just born in August- I had no idea what I was getting myself into! But I loved every minute of it, the kids were awesome and Carolyn made having two babies under the age of two look easy. Not that I was getting any ideas just yet! We did lots of catching up, cooking, and ruled Friends Scene It. We rounded out my stay with a day of shopping in Tahoe- it was gorgeous and let's face it I can shop anywhere. Thanks to Carolyn for such a wonderful time and let's hope we don't have to wait another three years before we see each other again!
