The Curse of Brent

On a positive note from Johnny's visit to North Carolina, US Airways did not lose him in an airport this year. But on a not so positive note- the Rangers lost to the Hurricanes. It should be noted that the past two years that Johnny has come down, Brent was unable to go to the game with us and the Rangers won both games. This year, I was thinking how great it was that Brent was able to join us at the game... that is until the Rangers lost. Therefore, I have determined that Brent's appearance at the game cursed the Rangers and caused them to lose. Don't worry, Brent has already been made aware of my accusation.

Johnny had Brent give him a "mitary" haircut, helped Brent do work in the yard, and did plenty of cuddling with the dogs. Johnny was impressed with our new (larger) TV but not so impressed when he lost to Brent in Madden on it. All in all a pretty successful trip- even more so considering US Airways managed to also get him back to NY safely. With any luck next year I will be able to take Johnny to a game at Madison Square Garden and we will finally be fans at a home game. Question is- will we let Brent go with us? Stay tuned.
