Ready to brave our first ever real hurricane threat- Hurricane Hanna, Brent and I decided there was no point in braving it alone! So we hosted a Hurricane Party, complete with a hurricane survival kit of food rations, candles, board games, and plenty of alcohol. Needless to say Hanna ended up being a big disappointment and other than being woken up by some wind at about 6 am Saturday morning, she did not exactly do any damage. Of course not that we were hoping she would cause actual damage, but we were kind of hoping for a little more of a hurricane experience- like with power outages at least! I mean was that too much to ask? But we are safe and sound, which you all know by now since my post is so late- but here are some pictures from "surviving" our first ever Hurricane...Food supplies in case of power outage or evacuation...
Don't forget the Lunchables and Hershey's bars...
Ok our satellite did go out and we had to put in movies, but sadly the board games were never played...
