And they called it.... puppy looooooooooooove! Everyone in the Rider house had a Valentine this year, including Lexi and Bauer. Brent was in the field, so my Valentine was my brother Johnny (Johnny's trip to North Carolina will be a whole other blog- check back soon), and as he requested, I got him chocolates. In addition to his card and chocolates, he received plenty of love from the puppies- requested or not.
Doggie Daycare had a Valentine's Day party, and when signed up, each dog was assigned a Valentine. Lexi's Valentine's name was Steve, another Boston Terrier; and Bauer's Valentine's name was Patra, a Jack Russel Terrier. I bought a toy and made an I.D. tag for name tags for each dog, and gifts were exchanged at the party. Lexi and Bauer were given Valentine's from each of the workers there too! I'd say they made out pretty well.
Everyone working there loved our idea of the name tags, and said some of the dogs received roses from the other dog that was their Valentine. Now the roses might be a little much! But look what cute couples they make!

Bauer's Valentine Patra
