But is she blushing because of the mere fact that she is the bride to be? Or was it just too much wine? Ha Ha. This past weekend I flew up to central NY for my friend Leanne's bachelorette party and bridal shower. It was the first time in over a year (since my wedding) that my three housemates and I have all been together. And that can only mean one thing... a darn good time! We stayed up all night Friday talking and laughing, recalling all the good times we had at Cortland then were up bright and early Saturday for the wine tour/bar-b-que bachelorette party. The limo picked us up at noon and the first stop on the wine tour was not far away. To say we got an early start on the day is an understatement. I had never been on a wine tour before and it was a lot of fun. Of course, wine was not the only drink of choice that day and perhaps that plus our lack of sleep the night before turned out to be a lethal combination for our bride to be. But after a 4 hour power nap she was up and ready to go at the bar-b-que.
The shower on Sunday was a "lovely ladies lunch" at a beautiful country club in Buffalo. I lost count after my 5th glass of champagne and Leanne received a lot of really nice gifts... an all-around good time. The whole weekend was fabulous and I cannot wait until the wedding in the end of October.

A wine tour... What a neat idea! Looks fun. Wish I could have a glass of wine about now! I'd even drink a beer at this point. :)
